How long a sale may last	No more than 3 days per sale. § 3-8-2 · code text The maximum period of sale shall be three (3) days.
Permit	A special permit is required; the fee follows the city's master user fee schedule. § 3-8-1 · code text No person in any zone in the city shall sell or advertise in any manner whatever a sale of new or used merchandise at a garage, yard, patio or similar sale without obtaining a special permit from the building inspector and complying with the rules and regulations for same.
Sales per year	No more than 2 sales per calendar year. Applies: At any one address while the land has the same owner. § 3-8-2 · code text The maximum number of such sales at any one address shall be limited to two (2) per calendar year while the land is vested in the same ownership.
Signs	Signs only on the sale property, each no larger than 6 square feet. § 3-8-4 · code text No signs shall be posted in any place other than the property where the sale is being conducted. Said signs shall not exceed six (6) square feet in size.
