    A permit issued under the provisions of this section will be valid for a period consisting of two consecutive days.
Permit
  • Yes; the city council sets a fee to cover permit, enforcement and program costs.

    No person shall conduct, cause, or permit to be conducted a garage sale without first obtaining a garage sale permit. The fee for such permit shall be in such amount as is set by resolution of the city council
Sales per year
  • At most 2 garage sales.
    Applies: Per person per calendar year.

    No person will be granted a permit to conduct more than two garage sales during any calendar year.
  • A permit may be issued for a sale at the new home.
    Applies: A person who held fewer than 2 sales last calendar year and moves to a home that already had 2.

    Any person who has not conducted two garage sales during the preceding calendar year and who moves to a new residence where two garage sales have been conducted may be issued a permit for a garage sale
