Side and rear yard height
  • No more than 8 feet high, measured on the side with the higher natural grade.
    Applies: Residential rear yards and side yards behind the front building line.

    Exceed eight feet in height in rear yards and side yards behind the front building line, as measured on the side of the wall with the higher natural grade.
  • An open-work guard rail up to 42 inches above the higher grade may top a retaining wall.
