Employees	Only the people who live in the home may work in the business. Applies: Permitted home occupations that meet the standard home occupation rules. § 11-15-1 · code text No one other than the residents of the dwelling shall be employed in the conduct of a home occupation. The residents, plus no more than 1 more person who is an immediate family member. Applies: Urban home occupations. § 11-15-1 · code text An urban home occupation shall be limited in employment to residents of the property and not more than one additional person who is a member of the immediate family.
Permit	No special use permit is required; a business license is required. Applies: Home occupations that meet the standard home occupation rules, in all residential and agricultural zones. § 11-15-1 · code text home occupations in compliance with the following regulations are permitted as accessory uses, and no special use permit shall be required in order to establish and maintain such uses A conditional use permit is required. Applies: Urban home occupations in residential zones that do not meet the standard home occupation rules. § 11-15-1 · code text Urban home occupations which do not comply with the regulations set forth in subsection B of this Section may be permitted in all residential zones; providing, that a conditional use permit is first secured pursuant to the procedures referred to in Chapter 19 of this Title. A conditional use permit is required.
