How long a sale may last	A sale may last no more than 3 calendar days in a row. Applies: A yard sale permit is required. § 5.08.030 · code text A permittee shall not conduct a yard sale or garage sale for a period in excess of three (3) consecutive calendar days.
Permit	A permit is required; the fee is $10.00 per permit. § 5.08.040 · code text Application for a yard sale or garage sale permit shall be made to the City Clerk on forms provided by the City and shall be accompanied by a fee of ten dollars ($10.00) per permit, said fee to be used to defray the City’s expenses in processing the application.
Sales per year	At most 1 sale per calendar year for each occupied unit. Applies: Multi-family residences. § 5.08.030 · code text The maximum number of yard sales or garage sales permitted for any multi-family residence shall be one (1) per calendar year per occupied unit.
Signs	All sale advertising must be removed after the sale ends. § 5.08.030 · code text All advertising carried on in conjunction with the sale shall be removed after completion of the sale.
