Business Tax Account allows authorized users of certain entity types to securely access and manage their federal tax records and information online.

BTA supports access for the following organizational types: sole proprietorships, partnerships, S corporations, C corporations, federal, state, and local governments, Indian tribal governments, and tax-exempt organizations.

What can be done with BTA?

  • View tax balances, make payments, and see payment history

    • Download select digital notices

    • View eligible transcripts, such as payroll and income

    • Request a tax compliance check

    • View the business name and address on file with the IRS
