6.75.010. - Selling or vending in County buildings prohibited.¶
(a) It shall be unlawful to peddle, solicit orders for, dispense or sell any food, drink, goods, wares, merchandise, or other items in any building owned or operated by the County of Yuba, unless such goods, wares, or merchandise are sold from a vending machine or other dispensing device which has been installed by the owner or operator thereof in the County building under a written license or agreement granted by the County Purchasing Agent.
(b) The provisions of this Section shall not apply to any sale of merchandise offered or affected under permit, license, or grant of consent issued or awarded by the Board of Supervisors.

6.75.020. - Exemptions from Chapter.¶
This Chapter shall not be construed to apply to services or materials provided by County Officers and employees in conducting the official business of the County nor to vending facilities operated by qualified persons licensed by the division of rehabilitation of the Department of Rehabilitation of the State Health and Human Services Agency.

6.75.030. - Severability.¶
If any section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase, provision or portion of this Chapter, or the application thereof to any person or circumstances, is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions or provisions of this Chapter or their applicability to distinguishable situations or circumstances. In enacting this Chapter, it is the desire of the Board of Supervisors to validly regulate to the full measure of its legal authority in the public interest, and to that end, the Board of Supervisors declares that it would have adopted this Chapter and each section, subsection, sentence, clause, phrase, provision, or portion thereof, irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, sentences, clauses, phrases or portions thereof might be declared invalid or unconstitutional in whole or in part, as applied to any particular situation or circumstances, and to this end the provisions of this Chapter are intended to be severable.
