Yreka Municipal Code Ch. 11.36 Installation and Certification of Underground Tanks

Unless exempt from regulation by state or federal law, rule or regulation, no building permit shall be issued for the installation of an underground tank unless the application for building permit includes plans and specifications for said tank installation, in compliance with all state and federal law, rules or regulations prepared by a licensed civil engineer. The installation of said tank shall be inspected by a licensed engineer employed by the applicant. Prior to said tank being utilized, the civil engineer shall file a certification with the building department that said tank has been installed according to the plans and specifications and in full compliance with all applicable state or federal laws, rules or regulations.
