6.01.010 - Adoption and incorporation of Title 10 of the Mendocino County Code entitled "Animals".¶
Notwithstanding any provisions of the Willits Municipal Code to the contrary, the city council hereby adopts and incorporates by reference Title 10 of the Mendocino County Code entitled "Animals" (County Ordinance No. 4421 adopted December 18, 2018), a copy of which is attached to the ordinance codified in this chapter as Exhibit A. The county of Mendocino, its officers, agents and employees, are hereby authorized to enforce the provisions of Title 10 of the Mendocino County Code as presently enacted within the incorporated limits of the city.

6.01.020 - Enforceability of the provisions of the Willits Municipal Code dealing with animal control.¶
If any of the provisions of the Willits Municipal Code conflict with the provisions of Title 10 of the Mendocino County Code, the provisions of the Mendocino County Code shall take precedence. None of the provisions of the Willits Municipal Code which are in conflict with Title 10 of the Mendocino County Code shall be enforceable within the incorporated city limits of the city.
