12.24.010 - Adoption of county ordinance.¶
That certain ordinance, being Ordinance No. 772 of the county of Mendocino, state of California, entitled "an ordinance of the county of Mendocino state of California, establishing a master grid, and property numbering system," three copies of which are now on file in the office of the city clerk, is adopted and enacted by the city.

12.24.020 - Purpose.¶
The ordinance codified in this chapter is an emergency measure for the immediate preservation of public peace, health, and safety of the people of the city, and shall go into effect on July 1, 1971. The facts constituting the urgency are that a tremendous tourist activity is anticipated commencing immediately, ambulances and law enforcement vehicles answering emergency calls will be substantially assisted. A further fact constituting the urgency is that the county of Mendocino has adopted an ordinance referred to in Section 12.24.010, which is effective on July 1, 1971, and in the interests of making the ordinance codified in this chapter totally effective, it is necessary that the ordinance become effective on the same date. The ordinance codified in this chapter shall be published before fifteen days after passage, for one publication in a newspaper of general circulation in the county of Mendocino, state of California.
