12.20.010 - Requirements.¶
A. It is required that there shall be placed, erected and maintained at the diagonally opposite corners of the intersection of each of the public streets of the city, that are named now and that may hereafter be named, and that are open, dedicated to public use and used and traveled by the public, signs made of wood or metal, of appropriate size and design, with the names of such intersecting streets painted thereon, in letters not less than two inches high and one inch wide and uniform.
B. The material and design and method of placing and erecting said signs shall, subject to the provisions of subsection A, be left to the judgment of a committee of two members of the city council.
