§ 3.50.010. Purpose.

Pursuant to Article XIII of the California Constitution, it is the intent of the city council to require the ascertainment and recovery of costs reasonably borne by the city of Westminster from fees, charges, and rates levied therefor in providing services authorized by the city council. Changes to fees, charges, and rates shall be set by resolution or ordinance of the city council, in compliance with prevailing law.

§ 3.50.020. Cost control system/fee schedule.

A cost control system, including a fee schedule, shall be maintained and updated in a manner consistent to carry out the purpose of this chapter. Upon determination that a fee, charge or rate requires change, such request for change shall be approved and adopted by resolution of the city council. The finance department shall maintain a master list of all current, council approved, fees, charges, or rates, which will be titled the city of Westminster fee schedule.
