7.2.005. - Traffic Signalization Fee.

A traffic signalization and capital improvement fee shall be charged upon the construction of any new building or of an addition to any existing non-residential building or upon the subdivision of any parcel of land in the City. The fee shall be a condition of approval of any building permit, tentative tract map, parcel map, conditional use permit or variance approved for any such construction or subdivision, whichever approval occurs first.

7.2.010. - Computation of Traffic Signalization Fee.

The traffic signalization and capital improvement fee shall be computed as follows:

Fee = ADT x TOTAL BUILDING UNITS x (Amount to be set by resolution of the City Council)

For the purposes of this section, the ADT (Average Daily Traffic) trip generation factor and total building units for specific categories of uses shall be determined as set forth in the following chart, and if the ADT is not specifically set forth therein, it shall be the most comparable trip generation factor as determined by the City Engineer or Planning Director:
