Sec. 5-2.1. - Discharge of Firearms.¶
It shall be unlawful for any person, other than an officer of the law while on duty, to discharge any rifle, pistol or gun of any kind within the City, except in target shooting in a shooting gallery regularly licensed by the City or except when it may be necessary to do so to protect life or property.

Sec. 5-2.2. - Discharge of Other Devices.¶
It shall be unlawful for any person to discharge any air gun, slingshot, spring gun or other device or contrivance involving dangerous projectiles except when such projectiles are confined within the boundaries of such person's own private property.
