Ventura Municipal Code Ch. 2.110 Seal

The common seal of the city shall be of the size and form, and bearing the inscription and figures therein as follows: A circle two inches in diameter, with the following inscription therein, around and near the edge of the stamping and embossing part thereof: “City of San Buenaventura,” within which and occupying the center of the circle, the word “Eureka,” above which shall appear the figures “1886,” and below which shall appear the figures “1905.” (Code 1971, § 1111)
