§ 2.52.010. Personal use of city vehicles.¶
Employees and officers of the city are prohibited from utilizing city-owned or leased vehicles for personal use, except when specifically authorized by the city council or city manager to commute to and from their homes under conditions as set forth in individual authorizations. This prohibition includes, but is not limited to, employees who must respond to emergency conditions outside of normal working hours, where response from home with appropriate city equipment is most efficient.
