3.12.260 - Changes in classes—Generally.

Whenever one or more classes are requested or whenever because of any change in organization or methods, a significant change in the duties or responsibilities of any existing position is made which requires the amendment of the classification plan, such revision and amendment of the classification plan shall be made in the manner as provided herein.

3.12.270 - Changes in classes—Board's authority to change classes.

Pursuant to state law and merit system regulations, the board of supervisors, at any regular meeting thereof, may create new classes, divide, combine, alter or abolish existing classes or allocate new positions to appropriate classes.
