10.60.010 - Concealed weapons and discharging explosives prohibited—Permit.

Any person found in any public place or upon the public streets within the city limits with a concealed deadly weapon upon his person, or any person who fires any firearms within the city limits, or any person who discharges any nitroglycerine or dynamite, or any other explosive by whatsoever name called, within the city limits is punishable as provided in section 1.16.010; provided, however, that the chief of police may grant permits to carry such weapons to officers and other persons, as it may deem fit.

10.60.020 - Concealed weapon a misdemeanor.

Any person, not a peace officer, who has about his person a concealed weapon, or who has concealed about his person an automatic pistol, revolver, or firearm, whether loaded or unloaded, without a permit or legal right to do so is guilty of a misdemeanor.

10.60.030 - Discharging firearms—Permission required.

No person shall without first obtaining permission from the city council or the chief of police shoot or discharge any pistol, gun or other firearms, or air rifle or air pistol or compressed gas or air pistol or guns, not necessary in self defense, or in performance of official duty, within the city limits, whether on private property or public lands.

10.60.040 - Discharging firearms—Violation—Penalty.

Any person violating any of the provisions of section 10.60.030 is guilty of a misdemeanor and punishable as provided in section 1.16.010.
