§ 9.58.010. Failure to comply—Violation.

It is unlawful for any person who owns, manages, operates or otherwise controls the use of any premises subject to regulation under this article to fail to comply with any of its provisions.

§ 9.58.020. Smoking where not permitted—Violation.

It is unlawful for any persons to smoke in any area where smoking is prohibited by the provisions of this article.

§ 9.58.030. Violation—Penalty.

Any person who violates any provision of this chapter by smoking in a posted no-smoking area or otherwise violates any provision of this chapter is guilty of an infraction, and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished as set forth in Section 1.36.020.

§ 9.58.040. Right to smoke-free environment—Retaliation prohibited.

No person or employer shall discharge, refuse to hire or in any manner retaliate against any employee or applicant for employment because such employee or applicant exercises any right to a smoke-free environment afforded by this article.
