§ 2.48.010. Office created.¶
The office of director of finance is created.

§ 2.48.020. Transfer of duties.¶
The financial and accounting duties vested in the office of the city clerk are transferred to the director of finance pursuant to Government Code Section 40805.5.

§ 2.48.030. Powers and duties.¶
Financial and accounting duties include but are not limited to the following:
(a) Accounting officer;
(b) Responsibility for fiscal recordkeeping;
(c) Responsibility for collections of all moneys due the city;
(d) Responsibility for all purchasing functions;
(e) Responsibility for preparing and administering annual budget;
(f) Any related duties or functions assigned by city council or city manager.
