§ 10.15.010. Authority.¶
In accordance with the terms and provisions of the California Health and Safety Code, Section 13948, the city of South Gate, by its city council, requests the Consolidated Fire Protection District of Los Angeles County to include and annex the entire city of South Gate and all territory within its established boundaries, as those boundaries exist as of the effective date of the ordinance codified in this chapter, to the Consolidated Fire Protection District of Los Angeles County, so that all of the territory within the city of South Gate shall become a part of the Consolidated Fire Protection District of Los Angeles County.

§ 10.15.020. Effective date.¶
The ordinance codified in this chapter shall take effect on and after the first day of May, 1975, commencing at eight a.m., thereof.
