2.24.010 - Short title.

This chapter shall be titled "The city of Shasta Lake conflict of interest code."

2.24.020 - Model code.

The Political Reform Act of 1974, California Government Code Section 81000, et seq., requires state and local government agencies to adopt and promulgate conflict of interest codes. The Fair Political Practices Commission has adopted a regulation set forth in Title 2, California Code of Regulations, Section 18730, which contains the terms of a standard conflict of interest code. The terms can be incorporated by reference and may be amended by the Fair Political Practices Commission after public notice and hearings to conform to amendments to the Political Reform Act.

2.24.030 - Adoption.

The provisions of Title 2, California Code of Regulations, Section 18730, and any amendments to it duly adopted by the Fair Political Practices Commission, are incorporated by reference, and, constitute the conflict of interest code of the city of Shasta Lake.

2.24.040 - Amendments.

The city council shall, by resolution, establish those officials, officers, employees, and consultants that will be "designated officers" for the purpose of filing the required statement of economic interest and definition of specific investments, business positions, interests in real property, and sources of income which shall be reportable by "designated positions."
