2.22.010 - Date of elections.

Pursuant to the authority set forth in the California Elections Code Section 1301(b), the city shall conduct its general municipal elections on the same day as the statewide general election in November of even-numbered years, beginning in November of 2012.

2.22.020 - Consolidation.

The city shall consolidate its general municipal elections with those conducted by the County of Shasta. The appropriate consolidation requests shall be submitted periodically by the city to the county in accordance with the procedures set forth in California Elections Code Section 10400 et seq.

2.22.030 - Effect on terms of office.

The terms of office for all current elected officeholders shall be extended as necessary, but for no more than 12 months.
