Shasta Lake Municipal Code Ch. 16.28 Enforcement

Administrative procedures for enforcement of this title and the Map Act shall be established by resolution of the city council.

A. No person shall sell, lease, finance, convey or create by any means any parcel for which a final map or parcel map is required by the Map Act or this part until the map thereof fully complies with the provisions of the Map Act and this chapter and has been filed for record by the city clerk.

B. No person shall commence construction or installation of any building or mobile home for sale, lease or financing, except for model homes, or occupy or allow the occupancy thereof on any parcel when the Map Act or this part requires a final or parcel map for the parcel, until the map thereof fully complies with the Map Act and this chapter and has been filed for record by the city clerk.

C. Any person who violates any provision of this chapter is guilty of a misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of not less than one hundred dollars ($100.00) and not more than five thousand dollars ($5,000.00) or by imprisonment in the county jail for not more than one year, or by both, for each offense.
