Shasta County Municipal Code § 17.66.010 Purpose

The agricultural preserve (AP) district is intended to be combined with the EA district to identify the precise boundaries of agricultural preserves, and to provide such additional regulations regarding the use of land as are necessary to comply with provisions of law applicable to agricultural preserves.

The following uses are permitted outright in the AP district:

A. All uses permitted in the EA district, provided the administrative permit and use permit requirements of the EA district shall apply;

B. If the area of the AP district, or any portion thereof, is subject to a contract between the owner and the county under the California Land Conservation Act of 1965, those uses listed in said contract as uses compatible with agriculture shall, within the area covered by said contract, be additional permitted uses.
