Santa Barbara Municipal Code Ch. 4.16 Special Gas Tax Street Improvement Fund

To comply with the provisions of Sections 180 to 207 of the State Streets and Highway Code, with particular reference to Section 196, there is hereby created in the City Treasury a special fund known as the "Special Gas Tax Street Improvement Fund."

All moneys received by the City from the State under the provisions of the Streets and Highway Code for the acquisition of real property or interests therein for, or the construction, maintenance or improvements of, streets or highways, other than State highways, shall be paid into the fund created by Section 4.16.010.

All moneys in the Special Gas Tax Street Improvement Fund shall be expended exclusively for the purposes authorized by and subject to all of the provisions of Sections 180 to 207 of the State Streets and Highway Code, and any amendments thereto.
