Sec. 22-73. - General business license.

Every person conducting or carrying on a business of any kind or description anywhere in the county outside of the municipalities therein, a license for which is not otherwise provided for in this chapter or any other provision of this Code or other ordinance of the county, and who does not maintain a fixed place of business in the county, shall obtain a general business license and shall pay a quarterly fee of twenty-five dollars therefor.

The following fees shall be charged:

Food distributor (no fixed place of business in county) ..... 25.00 per year
Ferris wheel ..... 10.00 per day
Games of skill when prize given

Nonresident ..... 100.00 per year
Handgun dealers ..... 25.00 per year
Junk business (no fixed place of business in county) ..... 50.00 per year
Massage establishment ..... 50.00 per year

Sec. 22-75. - Approval by sheriff for certain businesses; stickers.

(a) The following businesses shall have a permit from the sheriff prior to the issuance of an occupational license:

Carnival.

Dine and dance establishment.

Ferris wheel.

Handgun dealers.

Junk business.

Merry-go-round.

Night club.

Road house.

Salvage business.

(b) Every juke box, coin operated phonograph, etc., shall have a license sticker affixed to each machine.

Sec. 22-76. - Repealed by Ordinance No. 3465.

Sec. 22-77. - Determination of "fixed place of business."

Every person maintaining a fixed place of business in any of the incorporated cities of the county who does business in the unincorporated territory of the county, shall pay the same license fee as though his fixed place of business were established in the unincorporated territory of the county.
