Santa Ana Municipal Code § 8-1900 Adoption by reference

There is adopted by the city that certain code known as the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings, 1997 Edition (hereinafter referred to in this article as the "dangerous building code" or the "Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings"), together with subsequent supplements, amendments, or editions, which shall become effective, adopted, and incorporated by reference into this Code on each new official publication date of the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings. The dangerous building code is adopted and incorporated by reference as though fully set forth at length herein as provided for in section 419 of the Charter of the city, except for the changes to the dangerous building code set forth in this chapter of this Code that specifically amend the dangerous building code. Any previously enacted, unrepealed provision of this Code that amended a pre-1997 edition of the "Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings" shall also be construed as amending the applicable provision of the 1997 or later edition of the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings. The Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings as amended, together with all other provisions of this article, shall be known as the city dangerous buildings code.

Section 205 of the uniform dangerous buildings code is deleted.
