14.17.01: DEFINITIONS:¶
The following words and phrases, when used in the context of this article, shall have the following meanings:
RESIDENTIAL DWELLING: Any permanent building being used by its occupants for residential uses.
TARGETED PICKETING: Picketing activity that is targeted at a particular residential dwelling and proceeds on a definite course or route in front of or around that particular residential dwelling. (Ord. 0-11-1261, 12-14-2011)
14.17.02: TARGETED RESIDENTIAL PICKETING PROHIBITED:¶
It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in targeted picketing within one hundred fifty feet (150') of a particular residential dwelling or within seventy five feet (75') of the parcel on which the targeted residential dwelling is located, whichever is greater.
The distance described as "within one hundred fifty feet (150') of a particular residential dwelling" shall be measured from the outer walls of the residential structure. An attached garage shall be considered part of the residential structure.
The distance described as "within seventy five feet (75') of a parcel on which the targeted residential dwelling is located" shall be measured from the curb abutting the parcel.
Nothing in this article shall be construed to permit entry onto private property without the resident's consent. (Ord. 0-11-1261, 12-14-2011)
