04.02.01: COUNCIL:

The San Marino disaster council is hereby created and shall consist of the following:

A. Two (2) members of the city council appointed by the mayor.

B. The director of emergency services who will also serve as chair of the disaster council.

C. A representative from the city's police and fire departments appointed by the city manager. (Ord. 0-11-1252, 6-24-2011)

04.02.02: MUTUAL AID PLANS:

It shall be the duty of the disaster council and it is hereby empowered to develop and recommend for adoption by the city council mutual aid plans and agreements and such ordinances and resolutions, rules and regulations as are necessary to implement such plans and agreements. (Ord. 0-11-1252, 6-24-2011)

04.02.03: EMERGENCY OPERATIONS PLAN:

The disaster council shall be responsible for the development of the city's emergency operations plan. Said plan shall provide for the effective mobilization of all of the resources of the city, both public and private, to meet any condition constituting a local emergency, state of emergency or state of war emergency and shall provide for the organization, powers and duties, services and staff of the emergency organization. Said plan shall take effect upon adoption by resolution of the city council. (Ord. 0-11-1252, 6-24-2011)
