San Juan Capistrano Municipal Code Ch. 7 Street Lighting

For the purposes of this chapter, “developer” shall mean any person developing property in the City on which street lighting is required in accordance with City standards for street lighting.

Developers shall pay to the City fees for the estimated costs of street light energy and maintenance which will be incurred for a period of one year following the anticipated date of energizing such street lights. Such costs shall be as set forth in a resolution adopted by the Council.

The payment of the fees required by the provisions of this chapter shall be made prior to the approval of plans for which street lights are required.
