§ 2.20.010. Office established.¶
The office of director of finance is established.

§ 2.20.020. Powers and duties—Transfer of certain duties.¶
The financial and accounting powers and duties imposed on the city clerk by the Government Code of the state are transferred to the director of Finance in accordance with the provisions of Sections 37209 and 40805.5 of such Government Code. In addition, the director of finance shall have all other powers and perform all other duties, relating to accounting and finance which have been imposed on the city clerk by this code or any city ordinance or by state law, where not inconsistent with such provisions; and the director of finance shall serve as license collector and administrator of the business license regulations of the city.

§ 2.20.030. Bond required.¶
The holder of the office of director of finance shall provide any bonds required by law for such office.
