§ 9.28.010. Violations an infraction.

Any person violating any of the provisions of this chapter or failing to comply with any of the mandatory requirements thereof, except as otherwise provided, shall be guilty of an infraction, punishable by: (1) a fine of not more than fifty dollars for a first violation; (2) a fine not exceeding one hundred dollars for a second violation of this chapter within one year; and (3) a fine not exceeding two hundred dollars for each additional violation of the same chapter within one year.

§ 9.28.020. Exceptions.

The provisions of this chapter shall not apply to employees of the department or other public officials acting within the scope of their authorized duties and concession activities. Department employees, public officials, concessionaires, and their employees shall abide by the laws of the state of California and all applicable county and municipal ordinances and regulations.
