§ 6.20.010. Assisting persons locked out of their property.

The fire and police departments are authorized to answer calls from persons who have locked themselves out of their property. A file for each such call shall be established by resolution of the city council.

§ 6.20.020. Exemption from civil liability.

Neither the city nor any officer, agent, or employee thereof shall be civil liable for any damage to property caused by rendition of assistance pursuant to Section 6.20.010 where such property is under the ownership or possession of the person who authorized such assistance.
