7-6.01 - Removal of surveyor's marks unlawful.¶
It shall be unlawful for any person to remove, deface, alter, injure, or destroy any surveyor's monuments or marks placed or erected in any of the public streets, avenues, alleys, lanes, or highways of the Town. Should the removal of any such monuments or marks become necessary in the opening of any public street, avenue, alley, lane, or highway, or for the laying of any water main, pipe, or sewer therein or the construction of any sidewalk or public work thereon, the person performing such public work shall first notify the City Engineer who shall supervise the removal or replacing of such monuments or marks.
