§ 16.56.010. Authority.

This chapter is adopted to implement the municipal ordinance of the city.

§ 16.56.020. Purpose.

The purpose of this chapter is to permit the collection of fees to cover the cost of processing, reviewing, conditioning and checking preliminary maps, tentative maps, parcel maps, final maps, improvement plans, subdivision inspections, and subdivision agreements. The amount of fees for each phase of subdivision processing shall be established by city council resolution, but the fees shall not exceed the amount reasonably required by the city to administer the provisions of this chapter.

§ 16.56.030. Additional fees.

The city council may collect impact fees in addition to those fees described in Section 16.56.020. These impact fees may include, but not necessarily be limited to: recreation and park fees; water well and river water diversion development, processing and transmission fees, sewage transmission and treatment plant expansion fees; flood zone fees; road and thoroughfare impact fees; other utilities fees, such as street lighting and signal lighting fees; general fund and facilities reimbursement fees; fire, emergency and police impact fees; school impact fees; utility reserve fund fees; bike path and walkway fees, marina and breakwater fees, airport land acquisition and development fees; storm drainage fees; ground water recharge fees; and community landscape fees. The actual amounts of these fees, if any, shall be established by resolution of the city council.
