§ 5.32.010. Peddling, soliciting, hawking or vending.¶

It is unlawful for any person to peddle, solicit, hawk or vend any merchandise, goods, wares, magazines, books or other things or service of value, to the owner or owners, occupant or occupants, of any residence or dwelling house in the city, at or in such residence or dwellings, such person not having been requested to do so by such owner or owners, or occupant or occupants.

§ 5.32.020. Violation—Penalty.¶

Any person violating the provisions of this chapter shall be deemed guilty of a misdemeanor, and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine not exceeding $100, or by imprisonment in the county jail for a term not exceeding 50 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
