Sec. 15-243. - Crossing at right angles.¶
Except where otherwise indicated by a crosswalk or other official traffic control devices, a pedestrian shall cross a roadway at right angles to the curb or by the shortest route to the opposite curb.

Sec. 15-244. - Prohibited crossing.¶
No pedestrian shall cross a roadway other than in a crosswalk, marked or unmarked, upon any of the designated through streets.

Sec. 15-245. - City traffic to establish crosswalks.¶
(a) The city council shall establish, by resolution, crosswalks at intersections and other places by appropriate devices, marks or lines upon the surface of the roadway where, in its opinion, there is particular danger to pedestrians crossing the roadway.
(b) The traffic engineer may install signs at or adjacent to an intersection in respect to any crosswalk directing that pedestrians shall not cross in the crosswalk so indicated.
