3.32.010 - Finding of necessity.

The council of the city of Richmond, in accordance with Section 40522 of the Government Code of the state of California, finds that it is necessary to the public interest, economy and general welfare of the city of Richmond that the surplus property authority of the city of Richmond, declared to exist by Section 40520 of said code, be authorized to transact business and exercise the powers set forth in Chapter 19 (commencing with Section 40500) of Part 2 of Division 3 of Title 4 of said code.

3.32.020 - Membership—Powers and duties.

The surplus property authority shall be governed by the surplus property commission. The members of the council of the city of Richmond shall be ex officio the members of the commission. The commission shall have and exercise all of the powers and duties set forth in Chapter 19 (commencing with Section 40500) of Part 2 of Division 3 of Title 4 of the Government Code of the state of California.
