§ 8.36.010. County ordinance adopted.¶
A. The county of Riverside has requested that the city adopt by reference County Ordinance No. 682, regulating and setting standards for the construction and maintenance of wells, in accordance with California State Water Code, Section 13801, to provide for uniform standards throughout the county.
B. Ordinance No. 682 adopted by the board of supervisors for the county of Riverside on October 31, 1989, is incorporated by reference to be contained within Chapter 8.36 of the Rancho Mirage Municipal Code.

§ 8.36.020. Administration—Enforcement.¶
Adoption of the ordinance codified in this chapter is conditioned upon no increase in fiscal impact to the city by the county of Riverside for administration of this chapter. The Riverside County health department shall enforce the provisions of this chapter on behalf of and within the city.
