§ 10.60.010. Traffic signal timing—Regulation authority.¶
The city traffic engineer is authorized to regulate the timing of traffic signals so as to permit the movement of traffic in an orderly and safe manner at speeds slightly at variance from the speeds otherwise applicable within the district or at intersections, and shall erect appropriate signs giving notice thereof.

§ 10.60.020. Speed limits designated.¶
That pursuant to Vehicle Code Section 22357, the city has prepared Engineering and Traffic Surveys for speed limits dated May 1, 2008, November 6, 2012, February 21, 2013, April 22, 2017, and September 25, 2023, and establishes the following speed limits:
