§ 1.05.200. Assignment of hearing responsibilities.

A. Unless otherwise provided for in this code, whenever this code provides that a hearing be held, the city manager shall be authorized to assign hearing responsibilities to any person or persons, qualified by training or experience, whom the city manager may appoint, employ or whom are retained by contract to conduct such hearings. Such persons include, but are not limited to, city employees, hearing officers employed by the office of the county hearing officer of the county of Sacramento, and administrative law judges assigned to the State of California Office of Administrative Hearings.

B. For purposes of this section, "code" shall mean the Rancho Cordova Municipal Code and shall include the city's zoning code, all incorporated uniform codes, and any applicable state laws and regulations.
