8.08.010 - Burning regulation.¶
It is unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to burn within the city limits of the city, any combustible material in outside areas except in strict accordance with the provisions of this chapter.

8.08.020 - Permit required.¶
No outside burning shall be done (optional) during the fire season, as determined by the Portola Fire Chief without a permit obtained from the fire chief or his agent. Permits are obtainable at city hall (without charge).

8.08.030 - Permit conditions mandatory.¶
Permits shall include thereon written conditions regulating burning, which conditions shall be mandatory; violation of any condition shall constitute a violation of this chapter and invalidate the permit.
