Sec. 70-1. - Imposition of conditions on certain matters.¶
Conditions may be imposed in matters involving change of zoning, variances, conditional use permits, permits for building or dividing land into lots when required for public health, safety, or welfare. These conditions shall have a reasonable relationship to the increased or more intense use to be made to the land and public facilities, and such conditions may include dedication of land for public street purposes, and the construction of offsite public improvements shall be based upon the adopted general plan and official standard specifications. The director of public works/city engineer is authorized to enter into contracts on behalf of the city guaranteeing that conditions imposed pursuant to this section are met. Such contracts may require performance bonds. This section shall not supersede any regulations and conditions under the state Subdivision Map Act.
