Sec. 2-871. - Imposed.¶

There is hereby imposed upon the utility services department an in-lieu franchise fee of five percent of the total operating revenue plus interest income of each enterprise fund. The fee for each fiscal year under this division shall be based on the audit of the prior fiscal year, and the fee shall commence with the 1989-1990 year.

Sec. 2-872. - Additional fee for utility services department.¶

There is hereby imposed upon the utility services department an additional in-lieu franchise fee of $600,000.00 annually for the life of the retirement schedule for the 1995 series P capital improvement bonds.
