§ 7.08.010. Designated.

It is unlawful and a nuisance for any owner of any animal to knowingly permit or tolerate the animal, by any barking or other noise or sound of loudness, duration and location, to disturb any reasonable person's peace and quiet. This section shall not be construed to prohibit the keeping of any watchdog, provided the owner thereof takes immediate steps to quiet the dog whenever it barks; and provided such owner never leaves such dog unattended on the premises in a place where its barking would disturb a reasonable person's peace and quiet.
