For the purpose of providing regulations for the training, testing, and certification of worker competency in food industry sanitation procedures, providing for the issuance of certificates and the collection of fees, and providing for penalties for the violation of such regulations in the City, that certain Ordinance No. 1964, an ordinance of the County entitled “An Ordinance of the County of San Bernardino, State of California, Adding Chapter 6 to Division 4, Title 3 and Amending Section 16.0213B of the San Bernardino County Code, Providing for the Certification of Worker Competency and Food Industry Sanitary Procedures,” three (3) copies of which are on file in the office of the City Clerk for public record and inspection, is hereby adopted by reference and made a part of this chapter as though set forth in this chapter in full, subject, however, to the amendments, additions, and deletions set forth in this chapter. Wherever the term “County” or “County of San Bernardino” is used in said Ordinance No. 1964, the term “City” or “City of Ontario” shall be substituted therefor; provided, however, all certificates shall be issued by, and all administrative enforcement proceedings shall be conducted by the Department of Environmental Health Services of the County. All fees and costs shall be paid to the Department of Environmental Health Services of the County. (§ 1, Ord. 1869, eff. October 2, 1975)
