About the Mobile Home Rent Stabilization Program

There are 12 privately-owned mobile home parks in the City of San Buenaventura (Ventura) that are subject to the City's Mobile Home Rent Stabilization Ordinance. The residents at these spaces pay space rent to the park owners and the City of Ventura regulates increases in maximum space rents that can be charged by the park owners through Ventura's Mobile Home Rent Stabilization Ordinance.

Mobile Home Administrative Fees

The City Council of San Buenaventura passed and adopted, by resolution, the City's Master Fee Schedule effective July 1, 2025. Included in the fee schedule, on page 39, are the updated Mobile Home Rent Stabilization Administrative Fees:

Mobile Home Rent Stabilization Fee has increased to $4.72 per space per month

50% to be paid by residents = $2.36 per space per month

50% to be paid by the park owner = $2.36 per space per month
