§ 13.20.010. Meter locations.

Each attached single-family dwelling unit shall have its own separate and distinct gas and electric meters which shall be installed by the respective utility companies at some convenient location. Water service may be master metered; provided, however, that any and all fire hydrants must be on an unmetered system.

§ 13.20.020. Underground cable television systems—Generally.

All new residential construction for which building permits are obtained after March 18, 1980, and all residential structures being remodeled when such remodeling requires the replacement or relocation of the property owner's main electrical service equipment shall be provided with underground cable television service, except that single-family residences need not install such service underground unless the undergrounding of all utility services are otherwise required by this code. The owner of the real property shall be responsible for compliance with this section and shall pay the cost of such installation and permit the entity franchised by the city to provide cable television service access to the property in order to pre-wire the structure.
