9-17-101 - Title and Intent.

Division 17 constitutes the Sign Regulations. The intent of this Division is to establish sign standards that will preserve the natural setting and built environment of the City of Mountain House. This Division sets forth regulations to balance the need for a well maintained, attractive community; for the protection of the public safety and welfare; and for sufficient identification of uses within the City. These regulations have the following specific objectives:

(a) Reflect and support a desirable visual quality of future development throughout the entire County;

(b) Attract and direct people to various activities and places throughout the City for their convenient movement; and

(c) Ensure that signs are designed, constructed, installed, and maintained so as to not endanger the public.
